Why Don't You Take Insurance?
Mental Health Articles
At Adult Psychiatric Care Center, we believe
that an educated, involved individual receives the most from
their health care. The web site, www.webmd.com,
is a very useful resource for learning about mental health
conditions. Here are links to a few articles we recommend.
At the end of each article, WebMD includes cross-referencing
articles to help as well.

Why don't you take insurance?
We have decided not to be involved with insurance companies. Taking insurance would result in the following inefficiencies:
- Difficulty scheduling appointments convenient to the patient
- Brief office visits
- Long waits in full waiting room
- Difficulty getting return phone calls from doctor
- Overall poor patient care and administrative service
Our service is more personal and responsive to our patient's needs. We are the alternative to the insurance system.
